Australia battled to earn a point against Ghana in pulsating World Cup Group D match at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.
Australian midfielder Brett Holman opened the score after a goalkeeping error. Later Harry Kewell was dismissed for handball on 24 minutes. Asamoah Gyan's scored equaliser from the penalty spot.
Despite their man advantage, Ghana failed to capitalize. At the late stages, Australia could grab victory.
