Association “Uztekstilprom” holds meeting with head of Global Business Promotion Group

The purpose of the visit is to study the possibility of exporting textile products from the Republic of Uzbekistan to the EU countries, in particular, to the Polish market.

During the talks, the Uzbek side provided information on development of the textile industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the years of independence, industrial development programs and prospects for short and long term, as well as implemented investment and social projects in the textile industry, Uztekstilprom said.

The foreign guest underlined a high interest in studying production, used technologies and manufactured products for making a decision on the possibility of purchasing fabrics and knitted fabrics in Uzbekistan at the request of Polish companies.

Based on the results of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a study visit for the representatives of the Global Business Promotion Group to the enterprises in Jizzakh and Kashkadarya regions with the subsequent discussion of the possibilities for establishing cooperation.
