Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to organize the assembly of LADA and Reno cars. The project will be implemented as part of the investment program for 2021-2023.

The investment program for 2021-2023 was approved by the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan from 28 December 2020.

It is expected that the assembly of LADA and Reno cars will be organized at the plant of LADA and Reno cars in the Jizzakh free economic zone.

The cost of the project is about US$60.9 million. In 2021, it is planned to master investments in the amount of US$33.3 million.

The design capacity will be 100,000 vehicles per year.
