Asaka Bank issues over 1.7 million banking cards

The Uzbek bank said that some 11,128 POS-terminals were installed at the trade and service enterprises, and bank offices, which rose by 817 unites.

As of 1 January 2017, total transactions with use of banking cards reached 2.621 trillion soums, of which 2.474 trillion soums fell to share of trade points, the bank said.

Number of issued MasterCard plastic cards increased by 9.3% to 157,671 units, the bank said.
