Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Artel plans to build a plant for the production of household appliances and electronics in Kazakhstan.

The plant will be built in Turkestan region. The project cost is US$85 million. The enterprise will produce 1 million household appliances annually.

Artel will build a plant for the production of kitchen stoves, built-in appliances, stampings and electric water heaters in Turkestan region. The project is being implemented in 2 stages, which will help create more than 2 thousand jobs.

The first stage is the launch of the production of kitchen stoves with an annual capacity of 500,000 units of household appliances by the end of 2021. The second stage is the production of electric water heaters by the end of 2022.
