Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Another patient, who was diagnosed with coronavirus, died in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

The patient, born in 1959, was hospitalized with a stroke at the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medicine in Tashkent on 15 April. Tests showed the presence of coronavirus.

He was transferred to the multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy to provide the necessary assistance.

The patient’s condition has been severe all this time. He was connected to a ventilator.

According to the Ministry of Health, he died of acute respiratory distress syndrome, acute respiratory failure, and pulmonary heart disease.

It should be noted that this is the ninth deceased patient with coronavirus.
