Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 November 2020, an opening ceremony of the EXPO-RUSSIA UZBEKISTAN 2020 online exhibition was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event was attended by: Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan A. Ikramov, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan B.Narmatov, heads of territorial departments of the CCI of Uzbekistan in Kashkadarya, Bukhara, Andijan and Navoi regions.
The First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Tsyb Sergey Anatolyevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Tyurdenev and other representatives of the exhibition took part from the Russian Federation.
At the beginning of the forum, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan A. Ikramov made an opening speech, where he noted that Uzbekistan highly values the relations of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation with the Russian Federation.
The basis for this, which has proved to be a productive partnership over time, was laid by a regular dialogue at the highest level, complete mutual understanding and trusting relations between the heads of the two states.
The proximity of the positions of the two countries on regional and international issues serves as the foundation for the development of bilateral ties. The potential for engagement is enormous. It is important to effectively use mechanisms to promote initiatives in trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, innovative development, tourism and business.
Trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia is intensively developing and strengthening. The Russian Federation occupies a leading position in Uzbekistan’s foreign trade operations.
In his speech, the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Sergey Anatolyevich TSYB drew attention to the well-deserved demand for the exhibition, and noted that it had become an important platform for the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the context of a clear demonstration of the best achievements of Russian mechanical engineering, high technologies, energy, transport, pharmaceuticals and other industries.
The following industries will be presented at the Third International Industrial Online Exhibition "EXPO-RUSSIA UZBEKISTAN 2020": energy, mining, petrochemical industry, mechanical engineering, automotive industry, transport, telecommunications, agriculture and food industry, science and education, information technology, medicine and pharmaceuticals, common consumption goods.
The modern version of the event will allow you to fully participate in it without leaving your office. Each participant is provided with a digital stand with an individual design, reliable communication channels with visitors for video meetings and direct negotiations, the opportunity to hold a video presentation, webinar or take part online in any of the round tables.
Within the framework of the business forum, a number of round tables are planned, at which it is planned to discuss the prospects for cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan.
The exhibition "EXPO-RUSSIA UZBEKISTAN 2020" and the business forum are organized by "Zarubezh-Expo" and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with the support of the Governments of the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, other ministries and departments of Russia and Uzbekistan.
