Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Despite the epidemiological situation in the country, large-scale work is being carried out in the wells in order to ensure uninterrupted supply of the population of Uzbekistan with oil products.
To date, the Mubarek oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz produces oil, gas and gas condensate at the Kukdumalok, South Kemachi, Umid, Zevarda, North Muborek and Shumak fields.
In particular, at the Kukdumalok oil and gas condensate field, measures have been identified to increase production.
As of 1 September 2020, the total number of wells in this field was 100 pieces. Of these, 87 are oil and gas condensate wells, of which 25 are used by the flow method, and 62 by the gas lift. The remaining 13 wells: 2 gas and 11 water pressure.
Currently, the field produces an average of 300 tons of oil per day and about 8-9 thousand tons per month.
In January-August 2020, it was planned to produce 63,694 tons of oil at this field, but in fact, 72,536 tons were produced.
In order to increase oil production, the specialists of the department carried out intensification works and produced 911 tons of oil, and as a result of additional measures 604 tons, a total of 1,515 tons of oil were produced.
By the end of this year, it is planned to produce 95 thousand tons of oil at this field. As a result of the implemented measures, the annual plan is expected to be overfulfilled.
