Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution “On measures to ensure wide coverage of the population with emergency medical services during the fight against coronavirus infection” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, from 20 July 2020:

during the coronavirus pandemic, in addition to the standard, mobile ambulance teams will be created, consisting of 1 medical worker and 1 driver, on duty around the clock;

by the end of each month during the period of the enhanced regime, instead of daily additional payments in the amount of 6 percent to the wages of workers of all emergency medical teams, additional incentive payments have been established in the following amounts:

doctors - 2.5 million soums;

paramedical workers - 1.5 million soums;

drivers - 1.0 million soums.

Based on the epidemiological situation in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, as well as the number of daily calls to the ambulance service, temporary standards for compact mobile ambulance teams will be approved.
