AIR MARAKANDA and Fly Khiva Airways Launch Direct Flight to Madinah

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Samarkand International Airport, in collaboration with AIR MARAKANDA and Fly Khiva Airways, has launched regular charter flights on the Samarkand–Madinah route.

The inaugural flight ceremony was held in a festive atmosphere: passengers were treated to a reception, while well-wishers created a warm and inspiring farewell before departure.

In April, AIR MARAKANDA formally introduced the crew of the new carrier, highlighting the significance of this cooperation for expanding route networks.

The first charter flight, departing at 04:35 local time aboard a Boeing 757-300, carried 224 passengers to Madinah.

Direct flights on this route will operate weekly on Saturdays, with a flight duration of 4 hours and 50 minutes.
