Adolat submits documents to CEC to register its presidential candidate

The party completed process of nomination of its candidate to the presidential elections in line with the legislation of Uzbekistan.

The party submitted application for registration of the candidate to the post of the President of Uzbekistan, decision of the higher body of political party on nomination of the candidate to the post of the President, protocol of the session of higher body of the party on nomination of the candidate to the post of the President, application of candidate to the post of the president on his agreement to participate in elections, as well as signature sheets.

The Central Election Commission will check submitted documents within seven days and issue conclusion on submitted documents.

Currently, a working group of the CEC is working on checking signature sheets of the parties. The working group includes representatives of public organizations, interior affairs and justice bodies.

As reported earlier, Adolat nominated chairperson of Political Council of Adolat Nariman Umarov as candidate to the post of President of Uzbekistan.
