Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the small industrial zone "Dashtbog" in Namangan.
In his Address to the Oliy Majlis, the head of state noted that technoparks, small industrial zones, regional clusters and logistics centers will be created in the districts and cities in order to further increase the industrial potential.
In particular, in Namangan region, land plots have been allocated for 72 small industrial zones. To date, 34 have been commissioned.
Despite the fact that the "Dashtbog" refinery was established recently, several enterprises have already been launched here. Thus, the limited liability company “Dream liner tekstil” has started sewing overalls and men's shirts. 120 local residents work here.

- You have heard that the words “mahallabay” and “honadonbai” have come into use in Uzbekistan. This means that we try to help, create conditions for each family, studying its concerns and aspirations. The fact that such a place appeared in your makhalla, and you got a job, the opportunity to work in a team, find out what's new in the region, country, and are in a good mood is also the result of these efforts. We still have many plans and goals ahead. We arrived in Namangan with big plans, big funds, so that tomorrow people would live better,” the President said.
There are four more enterprises operating here. Navro 'z tekstil sanoat produces clothes for children and men, Aziz Dizayn Servis - bags, backpacks and suitcases, Biaz Text - sandwich panels. The limited liability company "Kelajak mega stroy" has opened a training center. These enterprises have created about 300 jobs.
The area ofthe small industrial zone "Dashtbog" is about 4 hectares. A number of other enterprises are being built and equipped. In general, it is planned to implement 22 projects for 119 billion soums. It is expected that as a result, more than 3 thousand jobs will be created, there will be an opportunity to export products worth US$2.7 million.
Measures for the development of road, transport and communal infrastructure of the Namangan region were also discussed here. The special attention of the head of state was attracted by the project to turn the Akhsikent monument into an open-air museum.
- Akhsikent is the most unique monument. Research work in it must be carried out on a scientific basis, with a sense of respect and national pride. This place should become the Namangan Registan, the President said.
