Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan reported the death of a patient in Tashkent, who contracted the coronavirus.

The ministry notes that a 61-year-old resident of Shaykhantakhur district was treated at home for 10 days for fever, headache, cough and shortness of breath

The man passed the test for coronavirus. The test showed a positive result.

On 13 July, he was hospitalized. He was diagnosed with severe COVID-19. The man also had concomitant diseases.

Despite the efforts of doctors, he died of acute respiratory, chronic liver and kidney and pulmonary heart disease.
