Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Pozzolanic Portland cement 400, mastered in the production of Akhangarancement, has found its consumer in the sales market.

On 18 February 2011, the enterprise put up the first batch of the newly produced grade of cement PPTs 400 at the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

In order to avoid difficulties in the sale of products, a number of measures were taken. This is the determination of the needs of organizations in products, the proportional offering for sale of the volume of various brands of cement, taking into account their use, working with consumers to explain the purpose of a new brand of cement for the region, providing them, if necessary, with certificates, technical documents, a cement sample for laboratory research.

Over the past period, 25,091 tonnes were exposed and 25,080 tonnes of PPTs 400 were sold in bulk. Currently, the issue of selling cement in containers is being considered, in connection with which a model of a branded paper bag is being developed.

Akhangarancement is the second largest cement producer in the Republic of Uzbekistan and is one of the leading enterprises in the cement industry. The domestic market share is 27.9%. In addition to cement, the company produces mineral wool products, ready-mixed concrete, mortar and a wide range of reinforced concrete structures.
