Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 64-year-old resident of Shaykhantakhur district of Tashkent with a coronavirus infection died from acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

It was noted that from 25 June to 14 July, he was in the Republican Center for Emergency Medicine with a diagnosis of acute intestinal obstruction.

On 14 July, the patient was confirmed to have a coronavirus infection and he was transferred to the General Infectious Diseases Hospital in Zangiata district in critical condition.

The patient had a history of acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure.

The patient’s condition deteriorated due to complications of the underlying disease, and he died of acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure, despite full-scale standard resuscitation procedures performed by specialists.
