A large mineral fertilizer plant will be built in Yangiyer. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced this at a meeting with the participation of the asset and responsible leaders of the Syrdarya region.
In Yangiyer city, it is planned to implement a major project to build a plant with a capacity of 300,000 tonnes of ammonia and 360,000 tonnes of carbamide fertilizers per year in 2019-2023.
It is envisaged to attract foreign investments, as well as modern technologies from South Korea, Germany, Japan, China and other countries. The plant will create 850 new jobs.
