A group of robbers arrested in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Law enforcement bodies of Uzbekistan detained a group of malefactors, who were engaged in looting and robbery, the press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
The ministry said that the members of the group were arrested in Tashkent city. They committed crimes in a car with various state number plates.
The citizens of Tashkent were complaining that someone was stealing state number plates of their cars. The police arrested a group of people.
Investigation revealed that the group of persons in Lacetti car of white colour was carrying out looting and robbery in Tashkent city.
Five citizens of Tashkent city were arrested on 26 February in suspicion of robbery. Several state number plates, which were stolen from other cars, were found in the result of the inspection of their houses.
The members of the group were arrested. Currently, the investigation is underway.
