A delegation of Association Uztekstilprom takes part in Yarn Expo Spring 2018
The exhibition was attended by enterprises of the industry - Indorama, Daewoo Textile, Surkhon Group, LT International. Also, more than 20 representatives of industry enterprises took part as visitors.
During the exhibition, negotiations were held with more than 40 companies, which showed interest in Uzbek products, including companies from China, Pakistan, Iran, India and Russia. Within the framework of negotiations, potential investors were provided with familiarization information on the activities of the foreign trade company Uztextile Export under the Uztekstilprom Association.
Uztextile Export is a sub-structural organization of the Association "Uztekstilprom", aimed at stimulating development of exports of textile and sewing and knitwear products. The main tasks of the company are conducting market research, studying the market situation, finding new markets, assisting the industry in exporting manufactured products, developing logistics, etc., promoting products under the unified marking UzTextile.
Negotiations were held with the general manager of the company "Ruyi Trading Group". Following the results of the meeting, issues of selling Uzbek ready-made textile products through a joint venture in Hong Kong were discussed. The company plans to invest its own funds in the project and engage in further promotion of goods.
Within the framework of the visit, agreements were reached with Chinese companies on the supply of cotton ring spinning and spinning yarn for weaving in China. Among them are leading companies of the industry, such as Nantong Yinshuai Textile Co., Ltd, Nantong Co-op Textile Exchange Co., Ltd, Xiamen ITG Group Corp. Ltd "," Xiamen Hangkai Free Trade Corporation "," Xinjiang Asia-Europe International Material Trade Center Co., Ltd "," Gaoyang KeKe Textile Trading Co., Ltd "," Alashankou Zhonghao Trading Co., Ltd "," Alashankou Baoneng Commerce and Trade Co., LTD, Qingyuan Zhouchen Textile Sales Co., Ltd, Xiamen Xiangyu Superchain Supply Chain Development Co., LTD.
Pakistani textile companies Sardar Corporation PVT Ltd, AXA International, Texperts, Lahore Business International, Ever Green Textiles and Global Textile Networks have reached agreements on supply of Uzbek cotton yarn to Pakistan. Also, Pakistani companies expressed interest in purchasing high numbers of ring spinning and pneumatic spinning yarn.
The agreement was reached with the Indian company "Kennington Group" for implementation of compact knitted yarn in India. Kennington Group has expressed interest in creating a production of coarse calico in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in connection with which they plan to visit Uzbekistan in May 2018.
As a result of the exhibition, contracts and agreements were concluded for supply of domestic textile products for a total amount of US$4.0 million.
A Memorandum of Understanding on export of domestic products worth more than US$5.0 million was also signed.
