Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Based on the results of a study of the suicide of G. Khudzhakulova, the head of a pre-school educational institution No. 11 of Balykchi district of Andijan region. This was reported by the information service of the Ministry of preschool education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The working group created by order of the Minister of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, having studied the activities of the Department of Preschool Education of Balykchi district of Andijan region and the case of the death of G. Khudzhakulova, the head of the state preschool educational organization (DOE) No. 11, reported the following:

It was found that on 4 May 2020 at 15:00 G. Khudzhakulova, born on 25 July 1967, attempted suicide by hanging in her house, as a result of which she was injured and was taken to hospital. Despite the attempts of doctors to save the life of G. Khudzhakulova, she died in the hospital.

According to the conclusion of the pre-investigation check of the Balykchi district prosecutor’s office for this incident, the deceased G. Khudzhakulova took this step as a result of a change in her mental state due to health and work problems. In conclusion, the forensic psychiatric and psychological examination appointed by the district prosecutor’s office indicates that this negative state, which arose as a result of internal emotional conflicts, served as an impulse of emotional instability that led to an attempted suicide.

Based on this conclusion, the prosecutor's office of Balykchi district issued a corresponding decision on this fact.

A study of the work of the Balykchi District Administrative District by a working group of the Ministry of Preschool Education showed that the head of this district department was negligent in her duties, which resulted in an unhealthy situation in the region.

Also, as a result of an audit conducted in May 2020, it was revealed that the head of LLC “Milano Kurilish”, who performed repair and construction work in DOE No. 11, appropriated budget funds by entering fake information into official documents, in addition, it was confirmed that repair and construction work was performed poorly. A criminal case has been opened on the revealed fact of a violation by the prosecutor's office of Balykchi district.

The working group found that the Balykchi district preschool education department did not have systematic work and departmental control, managerial duties were not performed at the proper level, executive discipline was not respected, resulting in discontent from the population regarding the pre-school education system.

The head of Balykchi district preschool education department S. Khonkeldieva was dismissed from her post on 26 June 2020.

The Ministry of Preschool Education expresses condolences and sympathy to the daughter and family members of the late G. Khudzhakulova.
