Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 50-year-old resident of Mirabad district of Tashkent was treated at home with symptoms of respiratory distress from 3 to 9 July, the Ministry of Health reports.
After her condition worsened, the patient was admitted to the city clinical hospital No. 1.
The woman was diagnosed with coronavirus infection and bilateral pneumonia. The disease was accompanied by acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure. The patient also suffered from coronary heart disease and diabetes.
Later, the woman’s condition deteriorated sharply, and she was connected to a ventilator. The Ministry of Health emphasized that over the past year the patient was treated for oncology.
Despite the medical assistance provided, the woman died from acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure.
