22 kindergartens, 31 schools, 16 higher educational institutions to be built in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President “On measures to develop social and industrial infrastructure of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2021–2023” was adopted.

The resolution approved the main parameters for the development of social and industrial infrastructure in 2021 and targets for 2022–2023.

According to this, in the indicated years in the republic, in particular, there will be:

- new 22 kindergartens (for 2,970 places), 31 general education and specialized schools (for 13,934 places), 16 higher educational institutions (for 9,300 educational places) will be built;

- 55 projects will be implemented (of which 23 are the construction of new facilities) for the construction, reconstruction and overhaul of physical culture and sports facilities;

- 11 new objects of culture and art will be built, 7 objects will be reconstructed;

- 131 projects will be implemented (of which 24 were the construction of new facilities) for the construction, reconstruction and overhaul of healthcare facilities;

Also, 14 projects for the development of scientific and innovative facilities will be implemented.

In particular, the construction of the International Center for Molecular Allergology in the city of Tashkent is envisaged in 2021–2022.

In addition, measures will be taken to develop railways and metro.
