17 patients recovered in two clinics in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Nine people fully recovered from coronavirus infection in a clinic of the Research Institute of Virology in the capital and 8 people in a clinic of the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.

With the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health, they were transferred to the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation.

Among the recovered at the clinic of the Research Institute of Virology there are 7 people from the city of Tashkent, 1 each from Bukhara and Tashkent regions. Eight of them became infected as a result of contact with patients. One came from Russia and was quarantined. As soon as the coronavirus was detected, he was hospitalized in the clinic. Among the recovered patients, 6 men and 3 women. Among them, the oldest is 61 years old, the youngest is 9 years old.

Among those who recovered at the clinic of the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, 6 people became infected as a result of contact with patients, 2 came from Russia and were quarantined. Once the coronavirus was detected, they were hospitalized. 3 people from the capital and Tashkent region, 1 from the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Jizzakh region. Among them are 6 men and 2 women, the oldest is 58 years old, and the youngest is 10 years old.

In the city of Tashkent, 432 patients had been treated before, and now - 449.

To date, 1,364 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection throughout the country.
