Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- It should be noted that many patients recover from coronavirus infection every day thanks to the brave work of our doctors.

In Namangan region, another 17 patients fully recovered from COVID-19. With the participation of senior officials of the regional health department, they were transferred for rehabilitation.

All the survivors became infected as a result of contact with patients with coronavirus infection. Among them, 8 are men and 9 are women. All of them are from Namangan region (7 people from the city of Namangan, 5 from Uychi district, 4 from Namangan district and 1 from Yangikurgan district). The oldest of them is 53 years old, and the youngest is 6 years old.

In Namangan region, 72 patients were treated before, and now their number reached 89.

Currently, 1,229 people have recovered from coronavirus infection in the country.
