Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Another 11 patients with coronavirus infection recovered in Namangan region. With the participation of senior officials of the regional health department, they were transferred for rehabilitation.

All recovered are from Namangan region (9 - from the city of Namangan, 1 each - from Uchkurgan and Namangan regions). Two citizens arrived from Turkey and were quarantined. After the detection of coronavirus, they were hospitalized. The remaining 9 became infected as a result of contact with patients. Among the patients there are 4 men and 7 women, the oldest is 67 years old, and the youngest is 12 years old. Thanks to effective treatment procedures, laboratory studies today showed that they have fully recovered.

So far, 61 patients have been treated in Namangan region, and now 72 people have been treated.

To date, 1,028 people have been cured of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan.
