Due to a sharp drop in air temperature and snowfall, consumption of natural gas has increased significantly. On 4 December, the population of the country (more than 3.9 million consumers) was supplied with 68 million cubic meters of natural gas (on 4 December 2021, 55.8 million or 21% more were supplied). However, in 516 mahallas or 79,000 consumers, there is a decrease in pressure, and 14,000 have temporarily stopped gas supply.
From 22 December, the Iranian airline Qeshm Air will link Tehran with two cities of Uzbekistan - Tashkent and Samarkand.
