Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay an official visit to the Italian Republic

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the invitation of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, on 7-9 June, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to this country.

Summits will be held in the city of Rome. Our head of state will hold talks with President of Italy Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister George Meloni.

In addition, the leader of Uzbekistan will meet with the Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Qu Dongyu, headquartered in the capital of Italy. It is envisaged that important aspects of cooperation in the field of ensuring food security will be discussed.

The business program of the visit will be held in the city of Milan - the President of Uzbekistan will receive the governor of the province of Lombardy and hold a round table with the heads of leading companies and organizations in Italy.
