First 6 electric buses began to serve passengers in Samarkand as part of the allocated EBRD loan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of an EBRD sovereign loan of up to US$49 million, the first 6 electric buses began serving passengers in the city of Samarkand.

Currently, Yutong electric buses run on the route M1 - Samarkand International Airport - Railway Station. By the end of this year, it is planned to introduce another 94 electric buses on the line.
