Prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Georgia discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 31 March, a meeting was held between representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan (CCI) and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. This was reported by the press service of the CCI.

It should be noted that 21 enterprises with the participation of Georgian capital operate on the territory of our country. There are 23 enterprises operating on the territory of Georgia with the participation of residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, issues of enhancing cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries, as well as the development of trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Georgia were discussed.

The parties also agreed to work on organizing a visit of business circles to Georgia and Uzbekistan this year.
