AKFA University announces Motivational Letter Contest
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- AKFA University is pleased to announce a call for submissions for the Motivational Letter Contest in 2021 to provide a new type of scholarship for successful applicants.
The contest is open to school graduates or applicants who will graduate from School/Lyceum/College this year in Uzbekistan. The competition aims to promote applicants who have a clear and specific motivation for a course and field provided by AU.
Participants should write a letter of motivation to attend the contest by selecting one of the 12 departments of AKFA University.
The Motivation letter should be focused on your goals and motivation for the course you are interested in applying. The Applicant must concentrate on writing a short letter only one page (max 350 words) to show the motivation for choosing a program, describe things that have attracted him/her to apply, and explain why he/she want to enroll in the program.
The procedure of accepting motivational letters will last a month (From March 1 – to April 20, 2021).

After a particular plagiarism check (not to exceed 30%), the letters will be published on the official website of AKFA University. The best motivational letters are determined by voting in two stages.
In the 1st stage, each participant’s letter will be open to the public and evaluated by the audience (from April 20 – to April 30, 2021). Five candidates, from each department who select the most votes, will individually be invited to the AKFA University for the interview which is held in May 5, 2021.
In the 2nd stage, the video interview will be recorded from each participant and presented to the audience for voting again (from May 5 – to May 10, 2021). In May 10, 2021, the one winner from each department, who receives the most votes, will get a 100% scholarship to study at AKFA University for one semester.
The Applicant who wins the contest should also submit the Certificate of English (IELTS/TOEFL) by June 20, 2021, to keep his prize and the place. If the winner cannot provide a Certificate in English, the prize will be given to the second most liked letter owner.
