The embassy of Uzbekistan in Tokyo reports.

During the meeting, the issues of Japan’s experience in the field of healthcare in rural regions were discussed in the light of the fulfillment of the tasks set by the Head of the country during the video conference on measures to improve the primary health care system and the formation of a healthy lifestyle among the population.

They also exchanged views on the prospects for the development of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Japanese Association of Primary Health Care.

The Japanese side received with interest the proposal to establish cooperation with Uzbekistan in the development of primary health care.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a joint videoconference with the Japanese Association of Primary Health Care, as well as, depending on the epidemiological situation, on working out the visit of Japanese experts to Uzbekistan and Uzbek specialists to Japan.
