Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Zoyir Mirzaev was approved for the post of khokim of Tashkent region.

The corresponding decision was made during the session of the Tashkent Regional Council of People’s Deputies.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the session of the Tashkent Regional Council of People’s Deputies in Nurafshan. The head of Uzbekistan proposed the candidacy of Zoyir Mirzaev for the post of khokim of the Tashkent region. It should be noted that since November 2021 he has been acting khokim of the Tashkent region.

Zoyir Mirzaev presented information on the work done as khokim of Tashkent region for 10 months and plans for the future.

After that, the deputies of the kengash voted for the approval of the candidacy of Zoyir Mirzaev for the post of khokim of Tashkent region. According to the voting results, Zoyir Mirzaev was approved for the post of khokim of Tashkent region.
