Zoir Mirzaev Meets with Governor of Ivanovo Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Tashkent region headed by Hokim Zoir Mirzaev continues its official visit to the Russian Federation.

The delegation met with the Governor of the Ivanovo region, Stanislav Voskresensky, and senior regional officials.

During the meeting, Zoir Mirzaev noted that mutually beneficial relations between Tashkent region and Russian regions are developing steadily. He emphasized that Uzbekistan and Russia are united by traditional friendship, mutual trust, and strategic partnership.

Ivanovo region boasts a well-developed transport infrastructure, a strong professional workforce, and dynamically growing industries.

The region offers broad opportunities in sectors such as light industry, agriculture, chemistry, information technology, healthcare, electronics, automotive manufacturing, and tourism.

“Ivanovo region holds a special place among our foreign partners. We see great prospects for expanding cooperation between our regions in many areas,” said Zoir Mirzaev during the talks.

Following the discussions, the parties agreed to strengthen business ties, exchange experience, and implement mutually beneficial joint projects in healthcare, tourism, light industry, migration, and labor relations.
