Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Zamin Foundation Ziroat Mirziyoyeva visited educational and social facilities in Bukhara region, where the foundation’s projects are being implemented.

The chairman of the board of Uzsuvtaminot Sohib Saifnazarov introduced the turnkey water supply and sanitation system created at school No. 11 of the Zhondor district. A well has been drilled, a water purification system has been installed to the drinking level, an infrastructure has been created that meets hygienic standards, and a secondary water purification system has been organized.

Over the next two years, in 30 secondary schools of the Bukhara region and the Republic of Karakalpakstan, it is planned to create drinking water supply and sanitation systems, as well as conduct educational lessons on sanitation and hygiene for students. Also, in partnership with UNICEF, the Concept of water supply and sanitation for social facilities will be developed.
