Zero tariffs on some goods extended until the end of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 27 December 2024, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan signed a decree titled "On Further Measures to Ensure Equal Conditions for Entrepreneurs and a Fair Constructive Environment."
The decree includes several measures proposed during the President's meeting with entrepreneurs on December 20, 2024.
Notably, it stipulates that VAT and corporate income tax rates will remain unchanged until 2028.
Additionally, the zero customs duties on 36 categories of goods, including food products and other items introduced in March 2023, have been extended until 1 January 2026.

It is worth recalling that in May 2022, the President's decree exempted 22 types of food products from customs duties.
