Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Zamin Foundation, with the support of the United Nations Environment Program and national partners, held a round table on the topic "The importance of clean air for the quality of human life."
In her welcoming speech, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zamin Foundation, noted: “The future of our planet is the future of all of us, so we are all responsible for the state of the environment. All of us - from ourselves to the private sector, from public organizations to governments - must act together.
There are no small or big deeds along the way, so any action, whether it is not harming plants or planting trees, or reducing waste in large enterprises, is equally important for the environment.”
The event presented the results achieved within the framework of the project "Automation of monitoring of atmospheric air pollution", discussed international experience on this issue, outlined further plans to improve air quality control in accordance with the best world practices.
