Youth included in "Yoshlar Daftari" to be provided with one-time financial assistance

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution "On additional measures for social support of youth" was adopted.

The resolution approved the Model Regulations on the Youth Support Fund included in Yoshlar Daftari (Youth Notebook).

According to the Regulation, the funds of the Yoshlar Daftari fund are directed to the following:

- provision of one-time material assistance up to 4 times the size of BRV to young people with a difficult financial situation, included in the "Yoshlar Daftari";

- covering up to 75 percent of the expenses incurred by non-governmental educational organizations for teaching youth entrepreneurship and vocational training;

- for the purpose of carrying out entrepreneurial activities and activities based on self-employment of young people included in Yoshlar Daftari, covering the cost of renting non-residential premises up to 25 times the size of BRV no more than once a year for up to 12 months;

- in order to purchase equipment and working tools necessary for young people included in the Yoshlar Daftari to start entrepreneurial activities and activities on the basis of self-employment, the allocation of subsidies up to 40 times the amount of BRV;

- for the payment of up to 50 percent of the amount of a paid contract to children of families included in the Temir Daftar (“Iron Notebook”) studying at the HEI of the country, in an amount not exceeding 50 times the size of the BRV;

- reimbursement of expenses related to treatment in the country or in a foreign state of seriously ill children of families included in the "Temir Daftar", in an amount not exceeding 50 times the size of the BRV.

In order to form, manage and use the funds of the Fund, a Board of Trustees is formed, consisting of heads of interested institutions and representatives of the public.

The chairman of the board of trustees quarterly reports to the district (city) Kengash of people’s deputies on the implementation of the income and expenses of the Fund.

District (city) departments of the Agency for Youth Affairs are the working body of the Fund.

The unused funds of the Fund in the current year are transferred to the next year and withdrawn to the local budget of the district (city).
