Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 April, the Youth Palace in Tashkent hosted the Youth Forum on Financial Literacy, a key event of the international Global Money Week campaign. The forum was organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the national payment system UZCARD.

The event brought together several hundred students from Tashkent’s leading universities, serving as an open platform for discussing current issues in economics, personal finance management, and digital literacy. Participants took part in a dynamic program featuring expert presentations, banking product showcases, and interactive educational sessions.

Special focus was placed on fostering financial responsibility among youth, building successful careers, and navigating the modern digital landscape. The forum included a case championship featuring five finalist teams (25 participants), with the winning team from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics presenting a youth-oriented financial product concept.

The forum also featured networking and career development zones. During the job and internship fair, institutions such as Ipoteka Bank, TBC Bank, Kapital Bank, Sanoat Qurilish Bank, Click, and UZCARD presented opportunities for students.

The Youth Forum became a significant educational event aimed at enhancing financial literacy and supporting the professional development of the younger generation.
