Young Uzbek Judokas secure second place in medal count at Asian Junior Judo Championships
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Asian Junior Judo Championships concluded in Mungyeong, South Korea. On the final day of competitions in the middle and heavyweight categories, Uzbek athletes won 2 gold and 4 bronze medals.
After two days of competition, the young judokas from Uzbekistan won a total of 6 gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze medals, securing 2nd place in the overall medal count. It is noteworthy that the host nation, South Korea, topped the leaderboard with 6 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze medals. The names of the Uzbek athletes who made it to the podium today are:
