Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Yandex Go launched in Bukhara today. The users can get to any point in the city by downloading the application and entering destination in it. The service itself will find the driver who will arrive the fastest.
The cost of trips starts from 2500 soums. For example, getting from the airport to the Bukhara Arena will cost about 6300 soums, and from the Asia Bukhara hotel to the park named after Mirzo Ulugbek - about 5300 soums. This is the best deal in town.
“We recently launched a service in Samarkand, and today in Bukhara. Yandex Go makes getting around the city more convenient: you no longer need to call taxi services or catch a car on the street. Immediately after ordering a car, the application shows all the necessary information, for example, the model and number of the car. We also have a support service that can be quickly contacted in the application,” says Yandex Go Executive Director for Central Asian Market Development Tamirlan Shapiev.
In Bukhara, the exact price of a trip is known to users immediately at the time of ordering a car - just enter the destination address in the application. Even if the driver has to deviate from the route due to road repairs, the price will not change. You can pay for the trip in cash.
Yandex Go uses its own technologies: maps, routing, navigation, and a smart order distribution system. It is technologies that make travel more accessible to users and at the same time provide drivers with a decent income.
Yandex Go was launched in Uzbekistan in April 2018. In addition to Bukhara, the service also operates in six cities: Tashkent, Ferghana, Margilan, Namangan, Andijan and Samarkand. Yandex Go does not have its own drivers and cars. The service cooperates with local carriers. The free app is available for iOS and Android in Uzbek, Russian and many other languages.
