Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Since August, Yandex Go, formerly known as Yandex.Taxi, has been supporting the Ezgu Amal charity foundation and providing free trips for the organization’s wards: children with cancer and families in difficult life situations. Also, volunteers of the foundation order cars for free in the application to deliver medicines and food to those in need.

“The issue of transportation is very important for us. Travel to the airport, hospitalization, medical examination or diagnosis is an integral part of the assistance that our foundation provides to our wards. We are infinitely grateful to the Yandex Go team for helping those who need it most with getting around the city. Let this be an example for everyone,” says Khojakhanova Munira, co-founder and chairman of the board of trustees of Ezgu Amal.

The service compensates for travel expenses, drivers are paid for travel in full.
