Yandex Ads Expands Telegram Promotion Tools for Businesses and Channel Creators
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Yandex Ads has launched a new tool for promoting content on Telegram, enabling advertisers to select channels from a catalog and pay for posts based on a cost-per-view model.
The update aims to increase brand awareness, expand reach to target audiences, and simplify interactions between businesses and content creators.
The Yandex Advertising Network (YAN) currently unites over 18,000 Telegram channels across various countries, reaching a combined audience of more than 320 million subscribers. Interest from advertisers in this format continues to grow: in 2025, business investment in Telegram promotion through Yandex Ads doubled.
According to Madina Seysengaliyeva, Head of Yandex Ads in Central Asia, previously advertising posts on Telegram were mainly based on cost-per-click, with channel selection handled automatically. The new approach—allowing the selection of specific channels and payment per view—provides businesses with greater flexibility and opportunities for effective engagement with a broad and highly involved audience, both in Uzbekistan and abroad.
Campaigns are managed through the “Direct Pro” interface. Advertisers have access to detailed analytics for each channel, including audience size, engagement levels, cost per view, and projected placement cost. This enables more precise budget planning and selection of the most suitable channels, including previously unavailable ones.
Ad posts can be tailored to the style of individual creators or blogs and may include visual elements such as cards and videos. Additional formatting tools, emojis, and call-to-action buttons increase audience engagement and drive targeted actions.
Posts are displayed to all subscribers of selected channels, including Telegram Premium users. All channels available for advertising undergo prior moderation, ensuring a safe and high-quality environment for brands.
The new functionality also provides channel creators with expanded opportunities, allowing them to attract more advertisers, manage content placement flexibly, and increase revenue without having to independently seek partners.
