Yakkasaray mosque reconstructed in Tashkent

Yakkasaray mosque has been commission after capital reconstruction, the press service of the Committee on religious affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan said.
On 16 September, the first Friday namaz took place in Yakkasaray mosque. Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Muslim Board muftiy Usmonhon Alimov conducted the namaz.
After reconstruction the mosque can admit 1,000 believers. The height of the building with the dome makes up 23 meters. Here is also a minaret with the height of 31 meters.
Niche for Imam is decorated with national ornaments and gives the mosque a special appearance. There are all conditions for visitors. The mosque has a special room for washing.
