Xinjiang Products Exhibition Opens in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 21 October, the park Anhor Lokomotiv hosted the official opening ceremony of one of the major international autumn events — “Uzbekistan–China: The 14th Xinjiang Products Exhibition.”

The event was organized with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Xinjiang branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

The main goal of the exhibition is to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, expand opportunities for Uzbek small and medium-sized businesses to explore products, technologies, and equipment produced in Xinjiang, and establish direct business contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

The exposition features stands of leading Chinese companies operating in the agricultural, household, IT, consulting, medical, food, construction, textile, chemical, logistics, and energy sectors. Among the participants are major manufacturers such as Bingtian (Xinjiang) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd, Xinjiang Poplar Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd, Xinjiang Oulite Wire Mesh Co., Ltd, and others.

During the exhibition, Uzbek and Chinese entrepreneurs have the opportunity to establish new business partnerships, discuss practical aspects of cooperation, and hold talks on signing memorandums and implementing joint projects.

The exhibition will run until 23 October.
