Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 15 February, work will begin on the overhaul of Birlashgan and Aviasozlar streets in Yashnabad district, the press service of Tashkent’s khokimiyat reports.

During the renovation:

– 30,800 sq. meters of asphalt on 2.1 km of the road of Birlashgan and Aviasozlar streets (around the Aviasozlar food market) will be laid;

– 1,600 p/m sidewalks and bike paths will be built;

– 800 meters of lighting and 1200 meters of irrigation systems will be updated.

Also, walking areas for local residents will be organized and landscaped.
