“Women’s wing” of UzLiDeP prepares to celebrate Independence

The event was attended by members of UzLiDeP and its faction in the Legislative Chamber of the OliyMajlis, deputies of local councils, members of Writers union of Uzbekistan, Zulfiya prize winners, women entrepreneurs and farmers, youth, representatives of public organizations and media.

Participants of the event noted that UzLiDeP takes active part in attracting women in socio-political processes and increasing their physical, spiritual and intellectual potential.

According to the facts over the past ten years, the share of women managers has increased by 1.6 times, this is 40 % of small businesses are headed by women and 35 %of entrepreneurs are women in our country.

In order to full support of business women party via its projects helps them in their business activities.

In 2012 within the party project “From the family business to a strong family” hundreds of women were employed and for the past 7 months of 2015, 210 active participants of the project received 6 billion soums and where there was created more than 600 new jobs.

Indeed, our government and society shows respect and care to women by supporting them in all, especially in the issue of health. In particular, the adopted resolutions and decrees to improve public health led to increased life expectancy from 67 to 75 years and have reduced women and child mortality to 3,1%.

UzLiDeP under the project "Healthy Family is a strong family" is carried out work on women’s health. In particular, over the past period was organized a free medical examination for 21,500 women.

In general, today the life itself confirms that women are surrounded by care and attention in our country where there is well-being and prosperity.
