Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Wildberries, a major international online retailer, announces its entry into the Uzbek market. Residents of the country will have access to a wide range of goods, and entrepreneurs will be able to develop their business by expanding sales channels and opening joint partner outlets.
Wildberries offers residents of Uzbekistan about 20 million items from Russian and international brands: from women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, shoes and accessories, to electronics, books, pet supplies and various household goods. In the future, the range will expand: the company will offer even more different products at affordable prices.
The users in Uzbekistan can place an order both on the site uz.wildberries.ru, and using convenient mobile applications on iOS and Android.
“We are pleased to announce the launch of an online store in Uzbekistan: residents of this country will have access to a wide range of goods from international manufacturers, and representatives of local businesses in the future will be able to access Wildberries and sell their products in the countries where the company operates,” Wildberries said in a statement.
Delivery of goods will be carried out by the company’s own logistics service. In Uzbekistan, Wildberries order pickup points with comfortable fitting booths are also opening, which will allow residents of the country to try on clothes and shoes before buying. In the event that some things do not fit or do not like, they can be returned for free and get a quick refund. The first branded pick-up point of the online retailer has already been launched in Tashkent.
Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan will be able to independently open Wildberries distribution points and receive income up to 3.5% of turnover. The operation of the point of issue, receipts and returns is carried out through a mobile application.
To date, Wildberries is already operating in 20 countries around the world, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Germany, France, Great Britain, the Baltic countries, the USA and many others.
