Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Until now, in Tashkent, a norm of 330 liters per day has been applied in apartment buildings, and 389 liters per day in private houses. In addition, there were standards for a car 100 liters, for pets from 8 to 65 liters, as well as for watering the land (sidewalks and gardens) 36 liters for every 1 sq.m. land during the irrigation season.

According to the new standards, from 1 February 2022, a single norm of 350 liters per day is applied in multi-apartment and private houses, other standards for cars and pets are excluded. The standard for watering the land (sidewalks and vegetable gardens) has been reduced to 15 liters.

So, according to unified standards and tariffs effective from 24 January 2021 for the city of Tashkent, per month it turns out:

- in apartment buildings for 1 person - 17,033 soums (was 16,060 soums);

- in private houses for 1 person - 12,242 soums (was 13,607 soums);

- watering the land (sidewalks and vegetable gardens) for 10 sq.m. – 3,190 soums (was 7,680 soums).

According to unified standards and tariffs effective from 7 January 2021 in Tashkent region, per month it turns out:

for users of outdoor speakers for 1 person - 2,243 soums (was 8,973 soums);

in apartment buildings for 1 person - 29,276 soums (was 33,458 soums);

in private houses:

- with sewerage for 1 person - 23,687 soums (was 36,094 soums); 

- without sewerage for 1 person - 15,703 soums (was 17,946 soums); 

- watering the land (sidewalks and vegetable gardens) for 10 sq.m. - 6,730 soums (was 13,511 soums). 

According to the old standards, it was also necessary to pay 4,200 soums for a car, from 168 soums to 1,365 soums for pets, according to the new standards, payment for them is not provided.

Once again, we remind consumers about the benefits of meters (water meters) when consuming drinking water. In this case, the costs will be reduced by at least 2 times and the payback of the meter will be achieved in 6-12 months.
