WB delegation discusses implementation of joint projects in Tashkent

The mission of the World Bank arrived in Tashkent to discuss concept of the project on expanding workplaces and improving skills in context of modern economy.

Labour Minister informed the delegation on state and trends of labour market in Uzbekistan and efforts of the Ministry in creation of new jobs and employment of population, etc.

At the meeting, it was noted that Uzbekistan pays attention to development of small and micro businesses, which help to create large number of new jobs. Uzbekistan attracts financial resources of international financial institutions, including the World Bank within above-mentioned project.

The operations of recruiting agencies were also discussed at the meeting. The sides also discussed other issues.

The sides reached agreement to continue discussions of the concept of new project and determining main components of new project.
