WADA Places Uzbekistan’s Anti-Doping Agency on Watchlist
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Executive Committee of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has placed the National Anti-Doping Agency of Uzbekistan (UzNADA) on a watchlist due to non-compliance with several key criteria.
The decision was made at a meeting held ahead of the Sixth World Conference on Doping in Sport, taking place from 2–5 December in Busan, South Korea.
According to WADA’s website, the Compliance Review Committee (CRC) recommendation was approved following an analysis of the February 2025 audit, which identified several critical non-conformities.
WADA has given Uzbekistan four months to address these issues. The agency noted that the corrective action plan submitted by the Uzbek side convinced the CRC that the identified problems could be resolved within the given timeframe.
If the requirements are not met on time, WADA will automatically issue an official notice of non-compliance and propose measures necessary to restore compliance status.
