Volume of corporate procurement reaches 263.2bn soums

The volume of deals, conducted at electronic auction sales on corporate procurement, reached 263.2 billion soums in nine months of 2014. This was announced at the press conference at Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX).
The corporate procurement system helped to save resources of the companies for 49.4 billion soums or 15.8% from starting price.
Over 3,000 buyers and over 9,000 suppliers are accredited at the corporate procurement platform of UZEX. About 93% of them are small businesses.
Share of small businesses in supplied goods (services and works) within corporate procurement made up 96% from total deals and 95.5% from total sum of transactions. The small businesses actively supplied machinery and electronic goods.
It was underlined that five proposals were submitted to one application, while on some lots, the offers make sup 30.
